Annie Maria Hanover, 43 of Astoria, formerly of Portland, died Friday, Nov 9, 2012 at home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1969, in Ukiah, CA to Leonidas 'Lonnie' Steve Hanover and Vickie Aliece (Sanders) Hanover. Her parents preceded her in death.
Annie attended Seaside High School and truck driver school. On Dec 31, 1994, she married Tracy Wayne Ott in Medford. They later divorced. He survives, residing in Portland.
Ms. Hanover drove truck cross-country for 12 years, then went to school for medical assisting. She was disabled with multiple sclerosis. She lived in Clatsop County for many years off and on, in Seaside and Astoria.
Family members said she loved spending time with and training her dog, Lexxi, to be a service dog. She was interested in computer games and enjoyed making specialty cards and flower arrangements. Annie also loved working with children.
She is survived by a grandmother, Audrey Hamrick of Seaside; two brothers, Steve Hanover of Anderson, SC, and Mervin Hanover of Nampa, ID; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Oregon and California.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L Hanover; a sister, Cheryl Hanover; and four grandparents, Raymond Sanders, Ted Hamrick, Robert Hanover and Bessie Hanover.
