Arbie proudly served his country as an Army Veteran, dedicating two years to his service during the Vietnam War. His commitment to his country was a testament to his character and sense of duty, instilling in him the principles that would guide his life.

On February 9, 1970, Arbie married Mary Church, with whom he shared a loving partnership enriched by their mutual respect and affection. Together, they raised a wonderful family that included their sons Dale and Gerald, and daughter, Jennifer.

For over three years, he made his home in Elsie, Oregon, where he continued to build lasting memories with his loved ones.

Arbie was preceded in death by both of his parents, Arbie Church and Hazel Sherwood, along with a sister and two brothers. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, their children, his sister Jeanette Fike, brother Steven Church, and many other cherished friends and family members who will remember him fondly.
