Ardith Ranney

Ardith Marie Ranney passed away August 5, 2019, at the age of 86. She was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Eleanor Merle Swingle and John Wesley Brophy. Her husband, William Wade Ranney preceded her in death in May of 1990. She had one brother, John (Jack) Wesley Brophy, Jr. who preceded her in death in January of 2003.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Marie Brophy, her sister-in-law Patsy Jo Brophy, and her children, Cheryl Ann Fredricksen (Matthew), Darla Marie Barbee (Steve), Kristyne Danise Ranney (Cliff), and Joseph Mark Ranney (Christina), 16 Grandchildren and12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was masterful at cross-stitching, knitting, and crocheting, making many handmade gifts for her family and friends. She resided at Nehalem Bay House, in Nehalem, Oregon, where she was dearly loved by the staff. She made it a point to make baby blankets for the staff who where expecting babies.
