Barbara Dale Richards

It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Dale Richards announce her passing on Friday, January 3, 2025, in Seaside, Oregon. Known to her friends as Dale, she was 77. Dale is survived by her brother Dean Richards, nephew Edward Richards, and sister-in-law Kathie Richards. Preceding her in death are Robert D. Richards and Barbara Fulton Richards, parents.

Dale was born on August 13, 1947, in Portland, Oregon. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School. Relocating to the Oregon coast, Dale was a proud resident of Seaside, Oregon for nearly 40 years. Members of the community will remember her as the owner of Bucks Books and an advocate for rescue dogs.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Warrenton, Oregon. Honoring her love of animals, the family requests donations made in her name to the Clatsop County Animal Shelter.
