Beatrice Lorraine Bangs

Beatrice "Bea" Lorraine Bangs On January 7, 2016, Bea passed away as a result of complications from heart disease. Bea was 91 years old. Bea was born in Gilroy, CA on May 18, 1924, the seventh child of Maggie and John Powell. She was preceded in death by Howard, her husband of 60 years and her son Lynn. Surviving are her children, Virginia Moen (husband Gary) Aloha, OR; Karen Sabatine Aloha, OR; Richard Bangs (wife Dana) Knappa, OR and Julia Bangs (Kert) Warrenton, OR. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Astoria OR on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knappa High School Athletic Association.
