Carol Leone Tate, 76, of Seaside, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, in Seaside.
She was born May 31, 1936, in Seattle, to Milton and Hazel (Jensen) Brown.
She attended Seaside Union High School and received an 11th-grade education.
On Sept. 12, 1966, she married Floyd E. Tate in Seaside. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Tate was a nursing assistant and homemaker.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Elks Lodge, Moose Club and the Pythian Sisterhood.
Family members said she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and watching soap operas.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kelly and Debbie Breitmeyer of Seaside, Kip and Anita Breitmeyer of Redmond and Robert Breitmeyer of Astoria; a daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Craig Calder of Gearhart; a sister and brother-in law, Sherri and Charles Palmer of Seaside; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Teresa Brown of Hammond; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private memorial has already been held.
