Clarence "Clark" Oliver Clark

April 23, 1953 — September 27, 2014

Clarence Oliver Clark, known to all as "Clark" passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the age of 61. Clark was born on April 23, 1953 to Clifford and Barbara (Brown) Clark at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. After Clark's education he enlisted in the United States Army from June 30, 1972 to January 29, 1975. During his tour of duty he was stationed in Hawaii working in the motor pool. After the service he moved to Los Angeles, CA. lived there until he moved Oregon. He started working at Pacific Coast Sea foods in Warrenton in 1991 on the cleanup crew until his death. Clark enjoyed playing pool and signing Karaoke, tinkering and modifying things, Gardening and trying to win the Publisher's Clearing House. He had many, many friends and acquaintances and was quite the social butterfly. He was sweet, caring and considerate. Clark was quirky and goofy and had a way of making everyone smile. He was his own unique person and will be greatly missed. Clark is survived by his wife Cindy of 18 years, Sister Margret (John) Jordan, Brother Danny Clarkson Duane Mitts, Daughter Mandy (Jake) VanOsdol, Grandsons Kooper, and Jacob and quite a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Clark is preceded in death by his parents, Brother David Clark, son Sgt. David Mitts and grandson Landen Mitts. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Mission Christian Fellowship, 525 NW Warrenton Drive in Warrenton. A reception will follow the service.
