Deborah 'Debi' Donnelly, 61, passed away Monday, Sept 3, 2012 at home.
Debi was born August 10, 1951 in Bethesda, MD to George and Janet Lee (Thompson) Wrenn. Her mother survives, living in Las Vegas, NV. She graduated high school in Maryland, attended Virginia Intermont College for two years and graduated with a degree in nursing from UNLV in Las Vegas, NV. and was employed as a registerred nurse in Las Vegas prior to moving to Astoria ten years ago.
In May, 1977, Debi married David Donnelly in Bristol, VA. David survives, living in Astoria
Debi was baptized at Christ Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA and is a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Las Vegas.
She had a love and compassion for animals and had three shelter dogs at home. She was active in Clatsop Animal Assistance and Shelter. As a member of Columbia Riverkeepers she supported their efforts to protect the Columbia River.
In addition to her husband and mother, Debi is survived by two daughters, Erin Ayla Stewart of Redwood Valley, CA and Lauren Guido of Brookings, OR; her sister, Leeann Traczyk of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Nykki, Ronan, Avington and Anya Stewart of Redwood Valley, CA and Scoony and Ash-Lee Guido of Brookings, OR.
A private memorial and celebration of her life will be held later this year in Las Vegas.
