Fay Elizabeth Landwehr, 81, Astoria, died peacefully, on Wednesday, November 13th,2024. Born in Astoria, on May 1st, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Halley E. and Lucille (Quay) Johnson.

She attended Knappa Elementary, Gray School, and Astoria High School where she graduated in 1961. She married Donald Wayne Landwehr on July 15th, 1961, and celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary before Don’s passing in 2023. During her high school years, she worked at Shaner’s Jewelry in Astoria, then spent the majority of her career working as the secretary at Lewis & Clark Elementary. Upon retirement, she spent time volunteering at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitch, baking, camping, and time spent with close friends and family.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Alan and Mary Lou, brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Mary, brother David and partner Barbara, son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Mindy, son Greg and partner Cindy Nofield, son and daughter-in-law Monte and Nicolle, son and daughter-in-law Kurt and Jessi, as well as 7 grandchildren, Jon, Nick, Kaitlyn, Astor, Emerson, Paivi, and Helmi, and 6 great-grandchildren, Jameson, Hudson, Weston, Hoyt, Vera, and Harvey.

She was preceded in death by her younger sister Mary Ellen, her parents, and husband Don.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from 1 to 3 pm at Barbey Maritime Center, 2042 Marine Dr, Astoria, Oregon. Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Columbia Hospice, in care of ________.
