Gary L. Nelson

Gary Leonard Nelson, 65, was born October 26, 1947, and died March 25, 2013. He lived and died in Seaside, Oregon.
He was born in Astoria, Oregon, and graduated from Seaside High School in the Class of 1965.
Gary was an Army National Guard veteran.
He worked as a logger for many years.
Gary enjoyed golfing.
His survivors are a son, Marty Nelson of Warrenton, Oregon; a daughter, Michelle Nelson of Albany, Oregon; and a sister, Terry Nelson of Seaside, Oregon. Gary also has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Gary Nelsons memorial will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary, 220 N. Holladay Drive, Seaside, Oregon.
A celebration of life will follow the memorial at Scott and Debbi Browns, 89726 Elkhorn Road, Astoria, Oregon.
