John Franklin Lawhon was born to John & Wilma Lawhon in Longview, Washington on October 16, 1958. After growing up and living most of his life in Longview, Washington John moved to Seaside where he made it his home for the last three years. John was well liked and respected here in seaside. Most of John's hobbies consisted of guns, guitars, drawing, and wood carving. Recently, John's health was only task he was able to handle. John was called from this life after having a second heart attack in Seaside, Oregon on November 17, 2017.
John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sherry Lawhon. He also leaves two sons, Johny Lawhon, and Jeff Portier; daughter Chrissy Lawhon; Daughter in law Kerry Lawhon; and two grand-daughters and three grandsons. John also has a brother John Hanley and two sisters Theresa Lawhon and Donna Ceciliani, in addition to the rest of his family who live in Longview, Washington. He will also be missed by his beloved pet cockatoo, "Romeo". John will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
