Louella Irene "Lou" Delp, 85, of Portland, formerly of Seaside, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Portland.
She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Arnold, Neb., to Forestt and Violet (Bartlett) Pinkston.
On Oct. 21, 1944, she married Charles B. Delp in Portland. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Delp and her husband owned Chucks Painting in Seaside until his death in 1995. She volunteered for seven years, and later managed the Community Center Lunch Program in Seaside for four years. She lived in Seaside from 1977 to 2005.
She was a member of the Seaside Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Family members said she enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandy Robinson of Vancouver, Wash., and Sharon and Rich Blackledge of Portland; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Shari Delp of Gresham; four grandchildren, Charles and Shawn Unger of Vancouver, Robert Delp Jr. of Gresham and Malissa Blackledge of Portland; and two great-grandchildren, Luke Unger of Vancouver and Jayden Blackledge of Portland.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Seaside.
Private interment will be at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.
