Sharon Alexander passed away on July 12th after a five-year battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. Sharon was happily married to Andy Alexander for 29 years. She spent most of her life in Camden, AR, where she worked at the hospital and made a home with Andy. They shared many memorable years in Arkansas with friends and loved ones. Together, they united a family and raised Lee, Rob, Megan, and Ty. Through her children and now 7 grandchildren, she leaves behind a strong legacy of family and love. She inspired her children to not settle for anything short of their dreams and to never take no for an answer. Proof of this, they moved to Astoria OR, where she has spent the last 16 years exploring the Oregon Coast with Andy and working at local hospitals in the imaging department. She has always loved her work, coworkers, and helping her patients. Sharon was strongly loved by all who knew her. Amazingly and despite her dementia, she never forgot her friends and family. The family invites everyone who knew and loved Sharon to her celebrations of life. They will be held in Astoria at Pier 39 on Sunday, July 16th from 1-3pm and in Camden, AR at the Native Dog Brewery on Sunday, July 23rd from 1-3pm.
