Teresa Hankinson of Seaside, Oregon passed away November 20, 2013 in Seaside. Teresa Marie Gereaux was born November 22, 1964 in Pocatello, Idaho to Warren and Marie Gereaux. She was the third of six children. She graduated from high school in Logan, Utah in 1983, and then received her LPN certificate in 1984. Teresa enjoyed her job as an LPN and spent most of her career working in foster homes and assisted living facilities. She enjoyed working with senior citizens and hearing stories about what life was like when they were growing up. She worked as an LPN until she was diagnosed with Cushing's disease five years ago. Teresa was a kind woman who loved nothing more than to help her family and friends in their time of need. She always wanted to make sure that everyone was taken care of, even if it meant she had to go without something. That is just the kind of woman that she was. Kind, compassionate and very family oriented. She had great faith in God and loved going to church and socializing with the friends that she made there.
Teresa was married for a brief time.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters Julia Gereaux, Denice Newbold (Dory), all of Salt lake City, Utah; Margot Gittins (Mark) of Warrenton, OR, and Zepherine Mikesell (Will) of Logan, Utah, and one brother William Gereaux of Salt lake City, Utah.
